Help Us Welcome "The New Guy!"

Please join us all in welcoming our newest addition to the Haybuster Sales Team! Dirk Gaebe will be taking over as the Territory Manager for the region of Iowa, Wisconsin, and Illinois. Dirk is actually not a "new guy" to us at all. He has been a member of our Service team for over five years. He has been involved in customer training, delivery and demonstrating Haybuster equipment along with our industrial DuraTech equipment.

Dirk grew up on a dairy farm in western North Dakota and has a B.S. in Agricultural Systems Management. He knows his way around the equipment and we're very excited to have him as part of our Sales team. He is currently traveling around his territory with our V.P. of Sales, Bob Strahm, getting to know some of the dealers in his area. Please help us welcome Dirk Gaebe, we know he will do well for us! Please call the office if you would like his contact information: 800-243-4601.

On to October...

We made it through another busy September! All the farm shows have turned out great so far. We have a few more coming up. World Dairy Expo is going on right now in Madison, WI and Sunbelt Ag Expo is coming up in a few weeks. That show runs October 20-22 in Moultrie, GA.

During the week of the Big Iron Show in Fargo, ND, we had some visitors to the plant in Jamestown. There were about 50 people that came to take a tour of our factory. They came from Kazakhstan and South Africa. We got to show them around and also give them a demo of a tub grinder, a bale processor and a vertical mixer. The people from these countries are getting into cattle farming more and came to learn more about how we operate here. They also visited farms, ranches, feedlots, and other facilities across the state of ND. It was fun to have them here. They were eager to learn and full of questions. Thanks to the ND Trade Office for organizing the visit.

We got a good report back from DakotaFest. It sounds like the people were out even though the weather wasn't exactly cooperating. We're excited to have our new equipment out there, so it's great the people came out to see it.

Al Goehring and Steve Strafford are in Decatur, IL this week working at the Farm Progress Show. If you're in the area stop in at booth 911. Check out their website at www.farmprogressshow.com for more information. I'll give you an update as soon as the guys get back. We've got three shows coming up the week of September 15-17. DakotaFest

We have some exciting news about DakotaFest. We will be showing our newly released bale processor! It's called the 2655 Shortcut Balebuster. DakotaFest runs August 18-20 in Mitchell, SD. We will have at least seven machines there, so stop in if you're in the area.

We are very excited about the new 2655 Shortcut Balebuster. We've built on our existing best-selling 2650 Balebuster frame and juiced it up so it will produce a shorter cut end product. We've added more flails, more rotor speed, more slug bars, and more stripper channels. This will be the first trade show we will be showing it, so don't miss out on the debut! We'll see you there!
