Take the Challenge!

Whew! We made it through the busy show season and now we're cruising through October! Our sales team, myself included, has been running around all summer hitting the farm show circuit. We've been to Canada, Michigan, Wisconsin, Kansas, New York, South Dakota, Pennsylvania, Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio and Georgia in the last few months. The traffic was very good at most of the shows. We saw some nasty weather, as always, but overall we had a very good summer show season. The summer flew by and now we're into fall already, which brings us to...

Our new program for this season is a good one! It's called "Bob's Challenge." Bob Strahm, our VP of Sales here at Haybuster, is throwing down a challenge. We are very proud of our bale processor. So much so, that we feel if anyone saw a demonstration of our machine up against anyone else, they would, without a doubt, choose ours. This is the reason for Bob's Challenge. We want people to watch a demo of our bale processor, watch a demo of anyone else's bale processor, and pick the one that does the best job. If you purchase the Haybuster 2650 or 2655, we'll give you $300. If you choose the competitor, we'll give you $100, just for giving us a shot. Take the challenge today, you won't be disappointed!

National Meeting

It's an exciting week here at Haybuster Headquarters. We've got all of our Territory Managers here from all over the country for our National Sales Meeting. It's a great week where we all get to compare notes on what's going on in each area of the country and what's new here at the plant.

Hopefully everyone has a good time and heads back out into the field with some exciting new product information. We're also looking forward to the next farm show season which will be getting started in late summer/early fall. And hopefully we'll get to enjoy some great weather before then!

Help Us Welcome "The New Guy!"

Please join us all in welcoming our newest addition to the Haybuster Sales Team! Dirk Gaebe will be taking over as the Territory Manager for the region of Iowa, Wisconsin, and Illinois. Dirk is actually not a "new guy" to us at all. He has been a member of our Service team for over five years. He has been involved in customer training, delivery and demonstrating Haybuster equipment along with our industrial DuraTech equipment.

Dirk grew up on a dairy farm in western North Dakota and has a B.S. in Agricultural Systems Management. He knows his way around the equipment and we're very excited to have him as part of our Sales team. He is currently traveling around his territory with our V.P. of Sales, Bob Strahm, getting to know some of the dealers in his area. Please help us welcome Dirk Gaebe, we know he will do well for us! Please call the office if you would like his contact information: 800-243-4601.

On to October...

We made it through another busy September! All the farm shows have turned out great so far. We have a few more coming up. World Dairy Expo is going on right now in Madison, WI and Sunbelt Ag Expo is coming up in a few weeks. That show runs October 20-22 in Moultrie, GA.

During the week of the Big Iron Show in Fargo, ND, we had some visitors to the plant in Jamestown. There were about 50 people that came to take a tour of our factory. They came from Kazakhstan and South Africa. We got to show them around and also give them a demo of a tub grinder, a bale processor and a vertical mixer. The people from these countries are getting into cattle farming more and came to learn more about how we operate here. They also visited farms, ranches, feedlots, and other facilities across the state of ND. It was fun to have them here. They were eager to learn and full of questions. Thanks to the ND Trade Office for organizing the visit.
